We parked at the Pilot Truckstop and I took off in the direction of the ocean, specifically Long Island Sound. After some light industry the neighborhood turned to a pleasant residential area. The main activity seemed to be finishing up fall leaf collection. Near the shore the homes were larger and made to take advantage of the view. The temperature was 43 with bright sun and a cold north wind.

I did better at maintaining a 10-minute pace, finishing 5 miles in 50 minutes
